I can only assume “business” appeared a couple of times in your message as a masked hint as to what an entertainment venue and a service provider endeavor can transform into once their metamorphosis cycle kicks in........ 8)

College football is a national game now, not unlike the NFL, unfortunately that cat is out of the bag now.

.....appears that ‘the most powerful group in College Football’ is speaking-up in Tuscaloosa.

Yep. It usually comes down to pleasing the people who pay the bills.

........and on a side note, my Beloved West Virginia University Mountaineers, mentioned in the above, was also one of the teams along with the Utah, to play in the first indoor Major College Football Game. The game was played in Atlantic City, New Jersey. 8)

This is what happens and why College Football is heading to the extinction list.

......but, but, but, what about all the “common ground” the Utes and Gators have with one another, as Dirk Facer says?????? And you’ve just got to take into account the teams have a history of playing one another...... once, 42 years ago.

What’s that I smell?????? Must be Cow Flatulent or maybe, what comes after it??????

It begs the question of ‘What do the Group of 5 and the PAC-12 have in common???’

One possible answer may be, ‘The need for a National TV Audience AND the dollars that come with it’.

Soooooooooo..... on another topic, I heard where the University of Houston is taking a ‘new twist’ or ‘new application’, depending on one’s perspective, of the 4 game redshirt rule. Seems a couple of Seniors, who are starters and good players, have ‘decided’ to sit our the remainder of this season in order to gain another year of eligibility next season..... there is speculation both are doing so because the Cougars have gotten off to a rough start this season at 1 and 3, and believe that next season’s team will fare much better.
