I picked two real losers myself...FAU who is zero for two...and FSU...who will lose most games.

There is hope for FAU to make .500 now that they are past Ohio State and UCF.

There is no hope for FSU...free Willie...let him go.

Interestingly enough, Mountainman and I had a private message exchange where we discussed something similar in the design of this competition.

[for next year] --- I had proposed the possibility of including a 9th & 10th team as alternates that you could rotate in by making one of your first 8 picks "Inactive".

For Example; if Billybud had, say, Maryland as one of his 9th or 10th selections, he could make FSU "Inactivate", and make Maryland "Active" in their place.

Highfly had a tremendous week. From 11 to 17 points.

Billybud, the first to reach 20, broke off the tie with Mountainman, taking a point and a half lead.

Idle teams effected some of us, limiting the number of available points to gain in week 4. Doss really could have used the help, as 3 of his teams lost, while 2 sat on a bye. While 1 of his teams had a half point victory over an FCS opponent.

Donovan & I continue to compete for Penultimacy.

Cane, without our teams the rest wouldn't look nearly as good. We will be as the Phoenix...or not.

Here in the "Paris of the South" this week...

We've been eating at great places, walking a lot, watching sunsets from roof top bars.....forgot about football for a while....but Saturday approaches.

Yep, been otherwise occupied this week.

I have an appointment I need to go to, but plan to update this as soon as I get home.

Also, I have to put the CFP top 15 into this. Those rankings will go into effect for week 6.

Turns out that I must amend a scoring factor in this competition.

+ 1.5 point for a victory over a team listed in the Playoff Committee top 15 poll [Note: this becomes in effect following the 5th week]

- 1 point for a team loss to an FCS opponent

In previous years, the College Football Poll had released their first Rankings after week 5.
However, this season they have backed up the first poll until Tuesday, November 5.

So the half point bonus for wins versus teams in the top 15 will not be applicable until after Week 10.
