Okay; the season is approaching quickly.
With 6 people, we can do 10 teams.
With more, 8 teams.
Not only does the field get thin, but difficult to keep track of.

Simple rules:
Each participant chooses 1 team in succession - you may only choose from teams in the FBS.
Once you have picked a team, that team is locked - no other participant may choose that team, and you may not dump that team should you be dissatisfied with them.
Team selections will of course take place in rounds - I do not know if there is enough time to do alterations in the picking order, so:
--- 1 team per participant every Round; participants will select teams in the same order each Round.
{we could go to reverse rotation order each round, if those participating prefer}
You may only have 3 teams from the same NCAA FBS conference in your group.
You may only have 2 teams from the same division of an NCAA FBS conference in your group.
There will be a time limit on your choice - should you not lock in you choice within the allotted time frame, you are bumped to last pick of the Round [even should you be bumped, you will maintain your natural Round selection in each successive rotation (yes, that means if you hold the 1rst pick, should you be bumped, you will have two team selections back to back ... and yes, this will carry over each Round you are skipped, meaning you could wind up with 3 or more picks piled atop of each other)]
As before; I will take the last selection in the Rotation.
I will choose a number between 1 and 30.
The participant who picks a number closest to the number I chose will get the first Selection.
The next closest pick will have the second Selection, and so on.
Once a number has been picked, that number is off the board. Any further selections will need to take a different number.
Number Selections are first person to post. If you intended to Select a Number, though did not post it before another participant, sux to be you.
{previously we had a 24 hour buffer for team selection; then we went to a 12 hour clock between picks do to the season being so close. Does anyone have a preference, as we are now about 24 days til kickoff}
Scoring:
+ 0.5 point for a team with a victory over an FCS opponent
+ 1 point for a team victory over an FBS opponent
+ 1.5 point for a victory over a team listed in the Playoff Committee top 15 poll [Note: this becomes in effect following Tuesday, Nov. 5]
- 0.5 point for a team loss to an FBS opponent
- 1 point for a team loss to an FCS opponent
Competition Length:
From week one through the end of the playoffs.
Scoring will be the same from beginning of the Season until the end of Post Season.
No need to get fancy with the scoring for a four team tournament. A first round loss simply means the same thing as a Bowl game loss for any other team.
Seeing as all four teams will be in the top 15, a second round loss (loss in the title game) will mean that team will end the season with a +1 [ +1.5 victory over round one opponent; -0.5 for loss in Championship] --- and the National Champions will end the tournament with a +3.

When selecting a team, either post it in a reply below or Personal Message it to me, and I will lock that team in for you.
I will send participants messages through the PM function of this site as a courtesy reminder when it is their turn to choose a team.
I, also, will post it in the Selection replies here in this thread.
