At least Bevo has come to play.

Georgia absolutely needs to wake up. Texas came to play. They best I have seen them play all year. Texas defense has shown up, maybe for the first time this year.

I never thought Texas would win this game. Even after the first half, I though Georgia would get over their hangover and get it done. Football is 100 percent about matchups and this one didn’t work out in Georgia’s favor. Sometimes games don’t make sense.

It does appear Texas doesn’t know how to handle sucess. Very poor sportsmanship.

That hit by Davonte Davis was not Targeting. He led with his shoulder, and the Georgia receiver leaned in with his helmet. The head to head contact was due to the Georgia player, and the Texas player got ejected.

This Targeting rule needs to be rehashed, so that the penalty can be called on either Offensive players or Defensive players. It is an unbalanced rule that needs changing.

No kidding Spence ...

You would think being up by 14 with under a minute to play would have you playing smarter and poised.

Your would think their head coach would get control of his team.

You think Derek will recover anytime in the next century?

Georgia has a very good coach and a very good recruiting base. Derek will be ok once they start playing ball again next year. At least his team acted like they had been there before. The sportsmanship Texas showed at the end was shameful.

Texas seemed the team that wanted it most....they played hard.

Re...targeting.

Cane has a point...when the offensive player lowers his head...and causes contact...doesn't seem to matter.

And...maybe it was a make up call.

Earlier, Bevo definitely lowered his head and charged , leading with the horns,,,should have been ejected.

Running backs lower their heads all the time. I think, even if it is wrong, that it is about being "defenseless" and they don't think defensive players can be defenseless.

And about Bevo, he acted the way some of his team did toward the end. Maybe he should have gotten an unsportsmanlike flag.

Nope. I'll never forget this game. This was COMPLETELY inexcusable. They acted like they didn't want to be there. And I was looking for Mark Richt on the sidelines there for a little while.

I only hope the players didn't do this on purpose. There are rumors that they wanted Fields to get more playing time this year and Smart just wasn't gonna allow that to happen last night, especially after announcing he was leaving.

I just hope we don't have too may de-commits because of this.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
