.......Head Football Coach, Dave Beaty will finish out this season, but will not be retained going forward.

Especially if they don't get someone in place very soon. That would be very awkward. The fired coach runing practices while the new coach is out recruiting.

I would hope the AD at Kansas already has his replacement signed, sealed and is just waiting on delivery...... else this makes no sense at all.
