Yep, times do change, and I accept and encourage that. BUT, I also acknowledge, understand and realize that when times do indeed change it’s not always for the better....... hopefully the NCAA and the College eunuchs have acknowledged this and have that box somewhere in their Decision Tree, although it would hamper and delay their ‘instant gratification’ obligations.

This really is the story of the season, isn't ..?

Not Bryant, per se --- More so to the Quarterback ousting across the map.

It started at Alabama.
Then Notre Dame & Miami.
Clemson made the switch.
And now Kansas State.

Heck even Old Dominion had their 2cnd String guy take over, and they beat Virginia Tech, putting over 600 yards on `em.

USC is playing a true freshmen, as are many other prominent programs.

The thing is, these kids are offered the keys to the Kingdom when they are being recruited. It's just that, the Kingdom seems to have multiple sets of keys these days, and some of the locks are being changed.

Lookout now!

Tua Tagovailoa has a little brother Taulia, who also plays the position, and threw for 41 touchdowns and nearly 4,000 yards as a high school junior last year. [which means he'll be in this year's recruiting class]

2nd string QB's are the most popular guys in any team, especially after a loss.

One other replacement happened on Saturday...

This one was due to on field circumstances, during the Va Tech/Old Dominion game.

Kansas transfer Ryan Willis, is supplanting Josh Jackson as the Hokies starting QB.

Not because of poor play by Jackson, but because Jackson went out injured during the game. Reports are that he suffered a fractured left fibula [for which he underwent surgery this past Tuesday].

Virginia Tech also has Redshirt Freshman Hendon Hooker & True Freshman Quincy Patterson on the roster.

It will be interesting to see if Justin Fuentes makes another change before long. When Jackson left the game, Virginia Tech was tied 28/28 with the Monarchs. Ryan Willis came in and led the Hokies to their first loss of the season against 0-3 Old Dominion, losing by 2 touchdowns.
