LSU's drive stalls in the Red Zone on the 8 yard line.

Held to a Field Goal.

Auburn 21 - LSU 13

Woa!

Poor poor throw by the Auburn QB ... and he threw it right @ Greedy Williams.

That was never going to be anything Other than an interception.

Malzahn played the odds, and tried to play ball control for field position, rather than score in the last quarter & half.

LSU kept coming ... and they don't need to get into the end zone, if your lead is less than 7, all while you are giving up field goals to them.

The Baton Rouge Tigers deserved the win ... the players from Auburn played well --- the coaching staff mismanaged the clock, and made some lousy play calling.

Auburn hurt themselves with penalties there at the end. They may have been able to get the ball back, or even forced a longer kick had they not committed those last two pass interference infractions.

Nice win LSU

That being posted, I did not find LSU's offense very good. They are still struggling to really move the ball on their opponents side of the field.

I don't think Georgia or `Bama give them the same field position. And both of those teams won't play drain the clock unless they are up by 14+ points. Their offensive production is just too efficient for that.

Cant argue with that. It has been their problem for a few years now. They do get both those teams at home but if they cant run the ball more consistently it wont matter. Got a few games beforehand.
