Mountainman wrote:Baylor gets Duke in Waco. Baylor has played the little sisters of the poor so far this season. Beating a good Blue Devils team would be saying the Bears are on the way back from that mess they brought on themselves.

Not sure you learn anything here, even if the Bears do win.

Duke lost a Starting Corner this past weekend, leaving their secondary depth thin. Which is no good when you are playing against a team who likes to score bunches of points by throwing the ball all day.

Duke also lost their Starting Quarterback for the season in the game against Northwestern. I don't know how, if at all, decent, the backup QB is.

Didn’t know that...... corners are a key position, especially against the Big XII’s style of play. Thanks, Cane.

The Bears gave the Mountaineers a beatdown a few seasons ago down in Waco...... some of us Hardcore Hillbillies ain’t got over it yet. We got them SOBs in Morgantown here in a few weeks.........

Okay ... So Kansas did to Rutgers what Ohio State did to Rutgers.

Rutgers is bad bad.

We are certainly clear on that ... But is Kansas' 50-14 win just them kicking the Scarlet Knights while they're down ..? Are the Jayhawks really improved .?. Is Kansas as good as Kansas, which means the Buckeyes' win over Rutgers is just that less impressive?..

Heck, I’m happy for them, the Jayhawks have been just awful for a looooong time...... to me there’s no analogy with the Buckeyes, they’re just loaded with talent and Rutgers just ain’t.

Think of this ...

 In just the 3rd week of the season, Kansas has tripled their win total from last year.

.......I haven’t verified it, but one of the TV guys said that last week’s road win was their FIRST IN THE LAST 46 ROAD GAMES.

Strange...... but just don’t take a basketball anywhere around where there’s Jayhawks.
