Hey, good for florida state for pulling within 2.

It's the second quarter, so there's plenty of time to finish the way Ole Miss did.

Please, Oh please bring Aguayo with you to Miami Gardens as your kicker on Sept. 6th ...

If he hits either one of those field goal attempts, the `noles would be leading this game.

23-21, Samford ahead with 9 mins left in the 4th.

FSU got away with one on that pass ...

Clearly should have been interference, but the ref's didn't throw the flag. Defender had his arm pushing back and holding down the receiver's arm. Forced Samford to go for a field goal.

26-21 Bulldogs.

FSU takes the lead for the first time tonight, with 4:03 left in the game ... they go for 2, success!

`noles lead, 29-26.

FSU grabs a pick 6 ... they are going to win ... but that touchdown should not count.

Plain as day, fsu commits a massive clip/block in the back on the interception return.

The refs even threw the flag ... then said there was no penalty ... ???

Do the `noles really need the refs help to win?

A W is a W......but this team needs to pull it together.

Samford has a great QB...and an air raid offense is difficult to prepare for on the short week (FSU played Monday night), but jeez...it was closer than the 10 point game it turned out to be.

With a modicum of embarrassment, Oregon fans have made a full-time profession of bashing Willie Taggart. From an Oregonian columnist:https://www.oregonlive.com/sports/oregonian/john_canzano/index.ssf/2018/09/canzano_crazy_flip_oregon_stat.html

"3) Willie Taggart needs to go free at some point. Just not quite yet, though. I considered placing a moratorium on Taggart bashing in this space, but he's not making it easy in Tallahassee. The turnover backpack schtick? Come on. Never seen anything more ridiculous on a sideline. And narrowly escaping with a win against Samford?!? That's embarrassing. Now, Taggart's "social media specialist" is making us forget about it all by taking a timeout on Twitter after bashing Florida State fans.

"Dear FSU fans, Good luck thinking this team even wants your support," FSU Social/Digital Media Specialist Kelsey Miller posted on her now-deleted personal Twitter account on Monday morning.

It made me think about what several other Pac 12 coaches told me about Taggart while he was still at Oregon. Probably not a huge surprise, but they were miffed that he was getting so much credit in his time at Oregon for being so great on social media. More than one pointed out to me that Taggart had someone ghost Tweeting and posting for him. And while that may not come as a big surprise to anyone who understands how demanding it can be to be a head coach in major college football, it's probably worth noting as you read about his social media specialist blowing a gasket at FSU fans."

Turnover backpack vs silly blinged out throne ?

At least the FSU player's , themselves, dreamed up as well as voted on the backpacks.

I blame it all on Miami and that ginormous , over blown, gold plated rappers chain that started this nonsense.

and who can blame a Cane guy for being positively giddy at the possibility that the Canes could go to 2 for the last 9 against FSU with this year's bunch of Noles..

Actually...the more I ruminate on those huge, gold plated pimp chains, I realize that it is the perfect Miami aesthetic.

And Memphis' turnover robe, just like wrestler Ric Flair...but SMU went all game of thrones with a gold plated crown and chalice...

I forget that these are 19-20 yeear old black kids (primarily) having fun and old white guys probably don't get it....and surely not some 50ish reporter.

True gold in Miami, not plated.

The chain contains a 36-inch, 2.5-kilogram, 10-karat gold chain, with 900 orange and green sapphire stones. Personally, I liked the U better than having Sebastian dangling down. But the players seem to like it. Also, changing it up a little makes it feel fresh, I figure ... and, yeah, it makes sense in the Culture around South Beach.

Think of it like this ... most rappers don't even own the Bling they where. Generally, it is rented out by their promoter, to be "Showy" when seen in public, in concert or in videos. So, wearing a Massive Gold Cuban link Gold Rope, with a Humongous Bejeweled pendent for such a temporary time [until the next defensive series] is fitting.

The Throne in Boise; I'm not sure I get --- The chain Oregon had last year, was clearly a cheap ripoff gimmick [the thing looked like a piece of a truck bed that was cut out with a blowtorch, and the chain clipped off of the stadium gate with a pair of bolt cutters].

I suppose I too would vote a backpack, if I thought that it would look different in design, and not "As Much" of a knockoff of someone's else Swagger. Even if I knew it was.

And, if I were a FSU guy, I guess I would be attempting to deflect my remonstrance with team unity and branding ... rather than allowing anyone to see the through the transparency of my objection to the obvious parroting by my venerated patronage ... especially if it's a simple apery of my rival.

There are so many things one Old White Guy doesn't get it boggles the mind. What distresses me is we have some two-bit Oregonian reporter, (a paper, like many, hardly publishes a daily paper that provides sufficient coverage for two bird cages) thinks anyone of his reader's care about what FSU does. Taggart was a lousy hire, good to have made the change, now move on to my fellow Northwesterners. And all of this from some pot-smokin', wide eyed pinko revolutionary school where the city has banned plastic straws as the solution to world peace.

And as for the throne, I would go with a toilet bowl...but that gaudy thing. I will not go back to my view.

Yeah...a black coach in Oregon (population 2 % black) may have a rougher time than in a state with eight times that percentage of blacks.

I do think that Taggart is more comfortable back in his home state.

Semi? Failed, I have. My goal has always been to be completely undecipherable. And I would have used the archaic spelling, "pidgeon."
