Not expecting too much from this game tonight. SMU looked pretty bad last week, whereas TCU played as they do.

This Rivalry goes all the way back to 1915. These teams have played all but six years since their first meeting in 1915. They did not face each other in 1919, 1920, 1925, 1987, 1988, or 2006. And they had agreed to play each other up through next season, in 2019.

In the last two meetings, TCU has outscored SMU; 89-39 --- Last year's game was; 56–36.
TCU has a 6 game winning streak vs the Mustangs.

TCU is currently the media's #16 ranked team ... SMU is mostly forgotten about, unless they play in games such as this.

The game was initially scheduled for an 8 pm eastern time kickoff; however, there is a weather [lightning] delay pre-kickoff.

The days of THE PONY EXPRESS, featuring Lance Mcllhenny, Eric Dickerson and Craig James....... once upon a time, a long time ago, in a place far away there was a College Football Team that was the best money could buy.

That they exposed ... Inflation would say Carol paid more, by outsourcing to Boosters & Agents.

Went to bed at halftime. Appears TCU kept the momentum going after a real sluggish first quarter. They seemed to take control mid 2nd, TCU was the better team so no real surprise.

I wonder how much of that slow stat had to do with the weather delay, pregame.

TCU did seem to, Wake Up! and really get things going.
