Auburn v UCF

First of all, that stadium reminds me of a James Bond movie except it is a rerun of a Third Reich building where the ceiling opens up and a rocket shoots out to destroy all the free world. And there is no James Bond to throw a wrench into the works to stop the Mercedes Benz logo from opening up. (Like so much of German society, automaker Mercedes-Benz was taken over by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party during World War II. Mercedes Benz became the largest producers of German war vehicles and munitions, extending the war. During World War II, Daimler-Benz employed slave labor. Others memories may be short, not mine.) I digress.

If UCF beats Auburn and at half-time, they are looking good, then a nail in the coffin of a playoff system only Hitler could find pride in. (Keeping with the theme.)

Auburn is starting to control the game now, but yeah, just another example of why a subjective solution to playoff teams isn’t a good one.

I was wrong. UCF doesn't have a white flag, they have a checkered flag. The bowl committee didn't have the intestinal fortitude to put UCF, but they proved today that they are at least as good as one team in the CFB playoff.

And it is only getting better. Great game and UCF can play with the best. UCF's players know their assignments. They may not have all the matchups but I see few out of position players.

There are few people who could work Hitler into a college football game. I don't know whether to be impressed or disturbed.

They were very well coached. Nebraska made a good decision. The B1G west just got a lot better.

Was a fun game to watch and good for UCF. Keep the small schools in the limelight. Nebraska may be better next year, their personnel is not all that bad. I thought the announcer said he is taking all his coaches with him, is that right?

Old Ducker-just wanted to make sure everyone was awake. Disturbed is probably the better choice.

The pie sounds good and glad you woke up, Mr. Billybud.

Now that Georgia is on the West Coast, they may not want to return to GA.

I can never get out of LA fast enough.

It' s Beirut without artillery shelling combined with a Mumbai crush of traffic....

I'll agree with that. I'm NOT a fan of LA in any way. I like San Diego, the Bay Area, and especially Northern California.

You should try Dallas Texas. It's LA traffic with huge pickup trucks driven like Porches over roads far less smooth.

Especially north and northwest Dallas around the belt.
