i agree to an extent, but when the call is blown on the one player who is dominating the game, and he gains momentum from that bad call because it turns a bad play into a legendary play, thats when the officiating becomes a variable...not THE variable

We have a lot of work to do on defense, especially in the secondary. Only one guy returns with game experience. The offense should be very good. I don't know, Tressel's young teams seem to over achieve, while his veteran teams seem to underachieve. I guess we will find out what this team is made of when we go to Austin in September.

I'm so on the same page with you on that one Spence. There's no need to get my hopes up, when I'll know for sure how good we are the second game.

It's one heck of a schedule we're playing next year. We have to beat two teams that are legitimate National Championship title contenders, OU and OSU. Riche, could you say that going into this past year? If we beat both, those are two teams that will likely be in the BCS bowls anyway.
