Shockers

Postby Derek » Sat Oct 14, 2017 12:02 pm

1. Clemson??
2. Washington State??

Who else today???
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Quite possibly Miami ... but they just scored, so we'll see.

Must be that Friday the 13th hangover. My gosh theres some crazy things going on in cfb today. May not be a huge upset but WVU did have a large comeback to knock off Texas Tech. Pac 12 have a few upset candidates tonite. Maybe Boise will also pull it off for Donovan.

WVU was a HUGE comeback. 29 unanswered points, 22 in the fourth quarter.

Great game. I'm glad to see Richt doing well down there. Also glad to watch Tech lose. 8)

They were fumbling around on the sideline out there; then finally found the flyswatter ... "Splat!!" ... Yellow Jacket mush. :D

Yeah, it was a fantastic game to watch; maybe more so as an impartial viewer than someone who has something vested in it --- Like last week, Ugh!! Tough to watch. Another game-saving-grab after we got bumped out of field goal range on a penalty with only 0:33 left on the clock.

The `Canes have to learn how to start the game better. Scoring earlier, or keeping pace with our opponent in the 1rst quarter will put more pressure on the other guy.

Also, Richt needs to stop being so flippin' predictable when the offense gets around the 7 yard line. This team has enough skill to put the ball in the end zone between the 5 and the goal. Bad play calling turned what should have been 14 points into 6.

Yet, just like last week ... I take the win.

I just may have to start stockpiling inhalers.

As they say out west, Wazzu Coug'd it. LOL

PS, Washington State fans hate that term (because there is so much truth to it)!

Yes!!

I knew it ... it's why I took `em in the picks.
What a game! Behind 20-0, then to win.

I just can't believe Texas would blow it, after coming from all the way down and taking the lead so late like that.

So many close ones this week.

I could smack myself ...

Going into the picks, I kept thinking I was taking Boise State. I talked myself out of it, and thought, San Diego State is playing so soundly; wanting the Broncos to win was some sort of loyalty pick on behalf of Donovan ... Shoulda listened to the intuition on that one.

Great win for Boise. It's their season boosting go ahead. Let's hope it translates into a further successful season.

I find myself rooting for CFP members teams...sounds like a good reason to me. Was a good Boise win. What a week.

And then Arizona State happened to Washington ...

Not a very good weekend for the Pacific Northwest. Boise was the brightest spot on the map up there on the left.

Miami is living on miracle endings the last two weeks.....Cane from the Bend must be watching while popping nitroglycerin tablets.
