Week 5 The West of some River and Board Teams

Postby donovan » Sun Oct 01, 2017 11:14 am

1. The big winner of the week was Washington State. And it was the best game I saw, set a high bar for the rest.
2. USC's Darnold was the big individual loser of the week.
3. Miami has a formidable defense.
4. Utah State beating BYU and Boise State with their record will make the BYU v Boise game the year's all-time irrelevant game of the week.
5. Florida State got it done and congratulations. The Swiss cheese offensive line needs to Cheddar up, Miami will be tough to score on.
6. Tennessee's bye week will give the new coach some time, or maybe Jones can be convincing.
7. Stanford's Bryce Love is now in contention for the country's most extraneous award.
8. Air Force, let's hope the football team is not our air defense against North Korea.
9. The University of Washington is a solid argument the coach makes a difference.
10. Alabama may have to start playing on Sunday.

Jones buyout may keep him at Tennessee for a little while longer.
