Postby Cane from the Bend » Mon Sep 18, 2017 10:38 pm

.

Week 4 Picks thread is available, here:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11407

A little odd in congratulating this Week Three Winner; Why it's me ... scoring 18 of 20 correct.

The Overall Scores currently Stand:

Spence = 64
Cane = 63
Vileborg = 62
Highfly = 62
Derek = 58
Donovan = 50

~ Old Ducker = 12 ~ [participation from week three]
~ Dossenator = 30 ~ [participation from week one]

I'm on your heels Spence --- this is where I usually choke, and botch the next 3 weeks.

18 of 20 is getting it did!

It certainly helped to pull me closer to the lead...

The two games I missed on:

I picked Tennessee, who lost on a crazy 63 yard hail mary bomb, with 0:00 left on the clock when the ball left the qb's hand.

I picked Miami of Ohio to win, who led for 57 minutes of the game, but, without an offense designed to run the clock down, threw an interception on a 3rd & 10 inside their own 10 yard line, that was returned for a touchdown, giving Cincinnati the lead.

Had it not been for those two plays, I'd have been 20/20 ... :|

We would have had to have blamed you for the hurricanes if you'd have bagged those 2 close ones. :D

Yeah ... if things were up to me, Miami would have taken fsu last week, instead of NC State getting their mitts on `em first. :lol: what's worse, is I picked fsu to win today, against my initial feeling that the Wolf Pack would beat them. I could kick myself.

The `Noles will be playing much more inspired on October 7th.

When was the last time Florida State started 0-2..?

Well I think the game was a bad beat for FSU. A team with 1 game of experience against a team with 3...that is a HUGE disadvantage! Losing your QB is a bad break that comes with football but that is a bad break from the earth, moon, and stars.
