Good to hear from you. Girls did great in the Softball championships. Hope all is going well with you. Ever get back to Oregon?

If anyone wants to set up hosting and their own phpBB install, I have no problem handing over a backup of the entire board so that it can continue on into the future.

Hi all: I've been as inconsistent as anyone in posting; but, I like the casualness of this board. No jerks or flamers around. I'm not as knowledgeable as many on a nationwide basis but I stick to the teams I know something about. I checked and the oldest archive posts are from 2005. Nice to have them all; but, maybe we can cut off anything older than 2010 without losing the more current topics? That would be a step toward reducing the size of the archive and perhaps the bandwidth needed to run it...and, each year forward cut off the oldest year in the archive.

Just a thought, Swamp Daddy

Nice to see you're still around, herr doktor. I guess I have imbibed the immortal words of advice from the late Tom McCall; I visit but don't stay. I am in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area now. How r you?

If we are interested in keeping this open, I can make it happen.

I already have unlimited bandwidth and unlimited disk space on Dreamhost. I'll simply need to create a new domain name.

IF you guys are serious about this....we can make it happen, and it won't cost much of anything.

I'm about to leave town for London until Monday.....Discuss.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

Derek, message CFP admin. With the details. That would be a cool thing to do if it can happen.

I think Swamp Daddy had a point...might not need to keep years back.

I know nothing about ...but if you need some money for this project I would contribute...PM me and let me know.

If we linked somehow to CFP that would be good. Mr. Congrove has been good to us and if possible keeping some tie would be worthy of deepest consideration.

Retired to Oregon. I am doing well...have all the issues of being old and decrepit...in mind and body, but doing some fun things and am basically pretty healthy. Good to hear from you.

I will send him an email on Monday or Tuesday after I get back in town.

I would obviously still want to keep the same moderators, since my time to take of something like that pretty much doesn't exist. :)

And I agree with donovan also, any stipulations that Mr Congrove puts on us, I would be happy to oblige.

I don't think we'd have any stipulations. We can even leave the CFPMessageBoard.com domain for all I care and re-direct to your server, Derek -- even if you want to change the branding and get your own URL, we'll just forward it for a while until people update their bookmarks.

It sure would be nice to see the Dawg save the day. I don't drop in often enough, but not at all would not be good at all. I'd hate to think you guys were out walking the world with no one to straighten you out on college football.

The hills are alive ... who better than a hillbilly to scout the terrain..?

Derek, a deserved thanx should be bestowed upon you. As we all here appreciate this.
Have a safe and delightful trip. I hope London is ready for you.

Thanks Derek.....we need an "Irish" touch.

From the heart of Dublin (Georgia, that is), is brought to you the CFP message board.

We have made a world tour of Georgia on the bike...Cairo, Damascus, Berlin, Dublin, and Vienna
