2017 Spring Games

Postby donovan » Sun Apr 09, 2017 10:50 am

Boise State had their Spring game yesterday in 44-degree temperature and 30 mph winds. Not really my definition of Spring. This year they divided into a traditional two teams. 13-7 was the final score. Harsin was pleased with individual play but a lot of work on team play left to do. The highlight was the defensive line and secondary. A lot of inexperience on the field. I watched some and like most Spring games, my hope is unjustifiably high.

I always hope the offense is ahead of the defense in the spring. It almost never is. The coaches usually have to handcuff the defenses to make it look good. I still like the taste for fall in the spring.
