It seems many on the left ar suffering from PTSD after this election. Mostly kids longing for safe spaces. I can't even watch the news right now.

Sadly, this is what the media is ... The truth however, is in what the media says, rather than how they emphasis what they are saying.
Notice how the media is stating, "We now have reports that as many as 7 U.S. cities have protest marchers, chanting Not My President".

Yeah, 7 cities, out of all the cities in every state within the United States, have people protest marching ... which happen to be in cities where Hitlery won the voting districts, inside states that were more or less called as win states for her during the election.
So ... yep, just a tantrum hissy fit by a bunch of young inexperienced Americans. Many of whom are not even voting age.
What really ticks me off, is all of the spin the liberal media has put on this, telling the people that this was a vote by angry white racist males.
They'd better be careful, or the black communities who are all over YouTube cheer, and saying they voted for Trump, may just show up outside their studios and protest them.

Trump beat Romney among blacks and Hispanics. Many people who voted for Obama (at least in '08) voted for Trump (especially those in Rust Belt states). It was more of a gamble on Trump than them having racial resentment. There are millions of normal Americans who might watch Fox News on occasion who just pulled the lever for the Republican or the guy who claims to support police officers and who doesn't think having an immigration policy amounts to a human rights violation. So they vote for Trump and then turn on the news and they're being told by hipsters in Portland that they are advocates for white supremacy. 
Trump didn't even win a majority in the primaries, he won a plurality, so he's not even exceedingly popular among Republicans.
They lost because of stuff like this. The real reason Trump won was because Hillary was such an especially terrible candidate. They could have run Biden or Sanders and they would have won by 5 points.
