Oregon v California
Shows why even with bad football you don't go to be early.

I didn't see this one. What happened?

Re: Oregon v California
At half-time the score is 31.14 Cal's favor. Oregon can't do anything. At one time Cal is going for lst down on their 40 yard line on 4th down, did that multiple times in a row, ended up with 40 first downs.
After half time the tide changes, and Oregon's Freshman Herbert QB starts clicking. They tie the game and it ended with 2OT with an intercepted pass. I suspect this loss gave Oregon as much hope for the future as anything in the last two years. Football was fun to watch because of so many errors, but not turnovers. (Perfect football is like watching no hitter...this was far from perfect.}
Seldom does a loss give a shot in the arm but this game may have. I even found myself deep down wanting Oregon to do it. (I will check myself in later today.)

Those are only fun games to watch if your team isn't involved.

I certainly would not say you are correct "when you have no dog in the fight." But Mr. Billybud could and you both would be correct.
