We all know Alabama will win, so there is literally no intrigue if you're not a Bama fan

My guess is you just started it. What do you think. WV should be better than last year by a bit as they adapt to the B12 style of play. We used to have a good rivalry going with them in the Big East, sometimes winning, sometimes the other. But they always played tough.

WVU came in right at the top of my reasonable expectations. They will be a force to be reckoned with in the Big 12 as the WR's get more seasoned.

Bama is good but will take a quarter to a half step back in the SEC I think. They need some snaps and seasoning at the QB position but the offense will do fine, the power running game is goodto go. I think the DB's struggled more than I expected them too, but that could be due to the Eers style of play. 1 thing they better get straight is who is running what and how...there seemed to be way too much jaw jacking on the sideline between Kiffin and Saban.

I took a break from fishing to watch some football yesterday, and this was the first game of the year I've seen.

I "thought" WVU was going to take this one.....

Welcome back bama girl! 8)
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

The dropped passes killed them! And the refs sure didn't help either!

I may be non-traditional but to me, when you can pass to the entire field and the defense can't stop you...and focus more on taking away the run...then I don't hand it off. Stop me from passing and I will think about! The DB's did NOTHING to stop them. The D-line of Bama was only able to get pressure 4 or 5 times the entire game. And that was with WVU only using the base 5 to block. I can't tell you how amazed I was at this! If you'd have told me that WVU would be able to pass block this well against any of the top 5 SEC schools I would have never believed it!

I agree ...

Dropped passes lost this game for West Va.

The `Eers showed me something I did not expect.
If the receivers get it together, watch out!

Teams with two head coaches never seem to sustain that arrangement.
