I don’t have a problem with them getting a little bit of extra money considering they aren’t allowed to work a job, but no matter what they do, the kids who can move to the NFL are going to move. It would be tough for anyone to fault them for it if we looked at it from their point of view.

To Spence’s point, I looked up the average salary for a defensive player in the NFL. From defensive tackles, defensive linemen, linebackers, safeties and corners the average range was said to be $1.8 million to $1.6 million annually depending on the position.

.......... did anyone else wonder why Matt Hayes didn’t mention the cost of what he was proposing???

Well hell...... I had no idea Matt Hayes was a politician, silly me, that would certainly explain it.

Media Personality / Politician ... I'm not sure if I can differentiate between the two, except for the fact that only one is held accountable for their mistakes when they get their way, after lobbying for change.
