College Football Teams ...

Postby Cane from the Bend » Thu Jul 12, 2018 2:17 am

Can you name each FBS team in 12 minutes.

https://www.sporcle.com/games/jcgamer107/all_fbs_teams

This challenges you to name all 130 teams with a 12 minute time limit.

This may be easier than the team Nicknames challenge, since this is just the team, and is set in columns by Conference & divisions.

See how many you can get, Good Luck!

Whew!!

That was a lot more difficult than I had anticipated.

I had trouble with the auto abbreviation of certain names. When typing in some names, such as; Northern Illinois, it auto loaded to the slot after Northern Ill. So when I finished the inois, it was still in the box for the next name I typed in. Which forced me to backspace and retype it.

That happened with quite a few.

I did eventually get 100% with 1:36 left. But this was tough. It took me several attempts. And, then I would type in a team I hadn't previously, only to not type a team I had.

At 72% it left me a comment that said: You are so beige.
At 94% it gave me a comment that said: You are the type of person my mother wanted me to date.

100% was the same as the nicknames: Sensational! Your parents must be so darn proud of you.

I was pathetic.
Andy, Barney, Aunt Bea, Helen, Ellie, Peggy, or Thelma Lou, Gomer, Goober, Howard and even Ernest T. Bass were all single. Only Otis was married and he stayed drunk all the time.

Is that because you were waiting to do the SEC schools last ..?

For me, some of the schools I stumbled over the most, were the recent jumps from FCS to FBS over the last few years.

Remembering Georgia State, Texas State, Old Dominion, Liberty --- then Trying to remember which team was South & Southern between South Alabama/Georgia Southern, and I kept forgetting Rice.
