I didn't create the list. Talk to the NCAA.

The big 10 schools take projects and split them between the schools. They get a huge amount of money for this and they keep it between the schools. Penn St. could join in with other schools instead of the B-10 group if they wanted, but these schools working as a whole get a lot of projects in sever...

That seems like it could work as well. I don't know how big the big east wants to be though. I think Temple has already joined the MAC starting next year. The Big East is already a 16 team conference in basketball. Adding teams is problematic. The Big East is likely to split over the next could yea...

I'm not really up on this stuff, but I believe that since both the Rose and Fiesta lost a team to the Orange, the top seeded team's bowl gets the first choice, and that would be the Rose. I doubt they would have wanted Utah over Texas given the choice. I have read the 'bylaws' by which the BCS sele...

The "BCS" does not select the bowl match ups. The BCS bowl members do. After the automatics are done, they get to pick in order, who they want. The last bowl to pick gets the short end of the stick. USC and Oklahoma were locked up in the Orange, Michigan was locked up in the Rose, Auburn was locked...

I believe there is potential for things to turn out where a one loss team or even two one loss teams could be taken over an undefeated team, but that's reaching at this point. :o There's a whole lot of football to be played before that even has to be considered, so I suppose we'll just have to set ...

My understanding is the same as you've said. The Eagles do have a good program. My concerns are about how playing a 1-AA team may impact the BCS Standing provided a lot of other factors were to fall into place. It may also turn out that it has no impact at all and my concerns are unfounded. I don't...

Here's a follow-up to an earlier post I made during a discussion Jason G. and I were having. Ed Pastilong, athletic director at West Virginia announced today that the Mountaineers will face the Eastern Washington Eagles, a 1-AA team, during the 2006 football season. Eastern Washington is a replacem...

Re: Longest time not playing D-1AA schools
A few I-AA opponents you missed. USC - Last time they played a non-D1A team was Pacific in 1945. USC played San Diego Navy in 1952 and 1951. UCLA - Last time they played a non-D1A team was Pacific in 1945. UCLA played San Diego Navy in 1954. Washington - Last time they played a non-D1A team was Will...

Ok, having read my post again, that could have been perceived as antagonistic. It wasn't meant to be such. I'm just asking questions trying to get your thought process down here. You've given me no reason to believe that the NAIA is competitive (although I believe it myself), other than Adams State...
