Re: Injuries
Drop a baseball off a five story building onto a thick sheet of plywood, supported by a couple of blocks, or to concrete on the ground (the heaviest bat imaginable) and see from which it bounces highest. I think the latter; the lighter bat will absorb more of the energy and transfer it to the batte...

Re: Saban....Longhorns?
I think he is just nosing around for a raise. Many Texas fans believe they have this guy in the bag . . . yet, there is another potential side to this story, which might irk Longhorn followers. It is said, that Saban is too meticulous & controlled to have anything done by accident, or without m...

Re: Fantasy Conference Competition: Update
After Furman, LSU plays: Alabama - Texas A&M - Arkansas Texas A&M's schedule: Vanderbilt - UTEP - Mississippi St. - LSU - Missouri The problem, is that your top two teams still have to play each other. Other than that, LSU has to still try and beat Alabama. The potential for another loss is ...

Re: First BCS rankings
We do have a playoff yes; and it's called the regular season. Unfortunately, the paradigm is too vast to include everyone. Adding more games only gives someone a second chance, who likely shouldn't receiver one. Adding even more games, is plausibly going to give someone a third chance. . . . Ok, th...

Re: Fantasy Conference Competition: Update
After having recalculated the totals, I did make one error.
I had Warrriorsfan at 30.5, though, as it turns out, his point totals only equal 29.5.
I must accidentally counted one of his -1's as a +1.

Re: Texas High School Parent Files Bullying Charge On Team
More of the ridiculousness. Everyone is a victim. Exactly, this same mentality has spread completely through our culture. The government needs to step in and fix this. <sarcasm>. My feelings; this is likely one of those parents who became accustomed to little Jonny playing in a system where they di...

And then, maybe the average schmo on Baylor's schedule.
Personally, I think Mike Leach should file on Mark Helfrich for Verbal Bullying.
