Weis will be running the show, that is for sure. The problem with guys like that is that if they won't conform they end up transfering out, which makes things hard for the team.

BillyBud, that was what I was talking about on the other thread when I said ask Fla. State about Lemming. ABC did air the story for the ratings. It doesn't mean that it wasn't appropriate to air. The story on Mo Clarrett and Ohio State was an appropriate one to air, but the beating Ohio State took f...

We need as many previews as we can get guys. They sooner the better. The previews can always be amended or added to and there is no such thing as a bad one. The more info we have, the better job we can do with the voting and the predictions game.

Just like females to band together.

We aren't in bad shape. I just like it when things are black and white. The grey areas have always been a problem for me.

Here is my early Ohio State preview. The Ohio State offense should be very good this year. Fifth year senior Troy Smith will be back at Qb to lead the charge. Ohio State loses Santonio Holmes to the Steelers, but T. Ginn and Gonzo are back along with probably Roy Hall or Albert Dukes . Also two youn...

If TCU scheduled the Longhorns then I applaud them doing what it takes to hang with the big boys. Now they just need to win a few of those games. That is the hard part.

Give them credit for taking the steps.

also be sure that you talk to THE DOCTOR when you call with concerns, don't rely on nurses to act as go betweens. your doctor should not have a problem with this and if he/she does, get a new one. i'm a nurse and i know too many know-it-all-nurses who throw out advice and like to get bossy, that ki...

I think when you use stats, everyone needs to remember that there is a little different standard applied depending on who is doing the stats. If you give your source and that source is using reliable information, even if the numbers are off a small amount it doesn't really matter. If a team had to f...

Vanderbilt, with or without Cutler, should still be able to beat Middle Tennessee. And Kentucky for that matter. Vandy was bad, but the Commodores had those 2 really bad losses in 05. If they win one game, they're bowling. :( I agree they should have won those games, but you can't put a loss off on...

It isn't just TCU's site that does this. I know Ohio State does it and would expect that all or most schools do this when putting together a media guide. You need to remember that the media guide put out by the schools is a marketing tool that puts the best possible spin on the data compiled. It isn...

The reason media guides can't be trusted is that they take the best available data from several sources. If the coaches have them #15 one week and the AP has them #17, they use the coaches. If the next week the AP has them #16 and the coaches have them #19 they use the AP. You have to use a one cred...

I have to question his leadership skills, however. Does he have the ability to put a bad team on his back and be competitive in the NFL? He didn't show me that when they had lost to Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State. If an SEC team has a true NFL talent at quarterback, they should be able to beat...
