Re:

You are going to have to stick to one of these. Playoffs - with conference champions. Playoffs - with 64 team bracket. You have mentioned them both. > A playoff system with just the conference champs is a terrible way to choose eligible teams. In that proposal, 2 teams from the SEC could finish with...

Re:

No, a plyoff system would only take the teams 'ranked' in the top 16. The polls would still have to exist. You disagree... A common plurative in your responses. Shows how you use your opinions, not the 'facts'. You do 'infact' misinterpret what someone types, by interpreting their words to say what ...

I suppose this is the type of display, rolltide, was hoping for, when he said:

"I can't wait for Cane and Colorado Loves Football to get into it".

Re:

LoL... I actually meant to look during the loading process, but was temporarily distracted. So, I do not know for sure. But, I am fairly certain that I had under 500 bucks before the post. (470ish-80ish I think) (could've even had less) Guess that is the advantage of typing everything, as opposed to...

Re:

I don't even believe you actually feel that way. Nothing you typed is supportive of an even playing field, in the least bit. I honestly believe you only disagree with me, to deliberately (and unsuccessfully) contradict whatever it is I post. Nothing you post is valid. The difference between your ran...

Re:

There are so many veriabls that go into poll ranking problems. Back in 2001, the widely debated BCS was a standingargument from both sides: Computer Poll Supporters Human Poll Supporters We, as frequent participants of the site, wereasked to give our argument in favor of the Human poll. Actally, I b...

Re:

I never eluded to Oklahoma being a weak team. Those are your words, not mine. Another fine example of how you read what you want, and not what is typed. I've written it before, and I'll write it again... Stop adlibbing my (or any/everyone else's) posts. You are aguing what we are not saying. That is...

Re:

Hey Spence,

You could always put your little girl in a race car.

Not many women competing those circuits.

But, the ones who do, get a lot of press.

They are paid relatively well, too.

.

Howdy,

Nice to see you back.

Re:

Oh, Spence, how could you have missed it? . I read through this, and it baffles me, that one could possibly attempt to garner credibility for a team, because they beat someone with a 3-7-1 record. I don't understand. Pitt being ranked #3 only shows how much of a lapse in judgement preseason voters c...

Re:

Yeah, but he was asking for the worst peformance by both teams, where you school lost. And, seeing as how Ohio St played the same way in the Fiesta Bowl that they had all year... that game doesn't count. I would say, biggest disappointment where both teams sucked, would have to be last year against ...

Re:

No, the NCAA does not officially sanction Bowl games. Though, they did have a hand at helping to form the BCS. And, if your program is under NCAA restrictions, the NCAA can declair your team inelligible to play in a Bowl game. . I now you don't like the answer, Irish88. But here it is. What the vote...

Re:

Texas lost a couple of stellar defensive players to the draft, also.

However, should Texas win-out, and take the National crown again this year.

Then we couldbe looking at a "Legitimate" 3-peat possibility.

Because, the 2007 Longhorn team looks promissing.

Re:

"LSU or Texas I'm still battling it around" LSU, Spence Texas has to re-adjust to a throwing game. They do have some phenom running backs. But, the mobility and awareness of Vince Young is gone (along with his calm demeanor, and intimidating presence). LSU only has to polish up on what we already kn...
