Hi all: Spring practice begins in 2 weeks ending with the Red/White scrimmage toward the end of April. It has been held during a weekend of the KY Derby Festival the last 10 years or so.
We had 11,000 last year for the scrimmage.

odds
When ya flip a penny the odds of heads vs. tails is 50-50. This doesn't change no matter how many times you flip the penny. Neither can you multiply the odds of the better team winning. They would stay the same each game (that is if you consider the odds to be the same for all games and all seasons ...

re-ranking recruiting classes
Good points too; and, the fact that now in a lot of cases you can only hope for 3 years at the most from the "stars" affects this too. Players may have to sit on the bench; but, you sure don't want people who are happy or satisfied to sit on the bench. You want hungary people who are always trying t...

CUSA faceoff
Having been a CUSA member 2 short years ago I have many memories of the stadiums there of the older members. So thats were some of my votes come from.
1) Legion Field
2) Liberty Bowl (many fond memories there)
3) Roberts Stadium (weird games here by all visitors)

Big Twelve face off
my votes are:
1) Kyle Field (Texas A&M) what a ski jump you could make from that slant in the off season.
2) Memorial Stadium (Oklahoma)
3) floyd Casey Stadium (Baylor), I attended there once (very briefly) so I'm predjudiced.

off season
Hi all: Don't know about other conferences but there is a 'bit torrent' site for Big East football/basketball games. Most games for the past two-three years are up. Bit Torrent is a sharing network for those that are not familiar with it. Games are in the multi-gigabyte range so a dialup won't make ...

2 outta 3, don't make me laugh
Well, you all can "DO NOT PASS GO" and land in JAIL, do not collect $200, do not collect GET OUT OF JAIL CARD or any benefit. After all the whole thing depends on getting number 1 and number 2 right to start with; and, I don't think that has ever been unanimous choice anyway. I don't think there is ...

Big East Face Off
Hi all: 1) Papa John's Cardinal Stadium (soon to go to 63,000) 2) Mountaineer Field (nice and homey) 3) Raymond James Stadium (cool look) Well, naming rights will soon take over college stadiums and arenas just like the pro ones. And what about the Carrier Dome named for the Carrier Corporation. And...

new jobs for Coker
Hi all: Forgot to put this in the post I just sent. I heard last night Coker got a job at a small school out west and darn if I can recall. John L. Smith is reportedly back in Louisville where he made lots of friends and was very social during his tenure here. Unlike Petrino who reportedly was very ...
