I thought it was kind of ironic -- Utah St beat Boise by capitalizing on the 7 turnovers -- last night, it was Utah St who couldn't hold onto the ball in the first half.
And San Diego made them pay for every one of them.
It certainly was not as entertaining as the Memphis/Tulsa game.

Re: Miami's Defense Is Thinning
FSU's "Rudy" FSU has a guy (Elliot) who is a RS Senior walk on. He has been a practice squad player for four years and this year Jimbo rewarded him for his effort and gave him a scholly and let him play on the kickoff aquad. He had played on the offensive side in high school then was not ...

Re: Miami's Defense Is Thinning
To further illustrate this thread: Mississippi State LB Dez Harris suffers third ACL tear of his career this past Saturday against Louisiana Tech. Harris will miss the remainder of the 2015 season. He worked his way back onto the field after overcoming a torn ACL against Auburn last season. And that...

Miami's Defense Is Thinning
One of the areas Miami's opponents have exploited in recent years, is the inexperience and lack of depth in our Line Backer core. This year we've improved quite a bit, however, since the start of the season, our roster has taken a hit --- the worst was just announced this week. This past weekend, Ra...

. 1. Texas (I've gotten most of both teams predictions wrong up to now, so :? ) 2. Pitt (see comment above) 3. Nebraska (I, uh, hmm ... I got nothin') 4. Arkansas (is this the battle to not be last in their division) 5. Miami (our leading tackler is out "LB", along with 2 other LB's, but.....

Re: Florida State?
They are, in my opinion, a legitimate playoff contender. Clemson will be tough, and I think have the best chance of beating the `noles prior to, and I hate to admit this, the gators . florida is scary improved. It just goes to show you what a real head coach can do with dormant talent. That team is ...

Re: Shockers
I can see how they have gotten a lot better after a few months of being around Harbaugh. That much is obvious. But we still lost, for some reason. But that's just it ... the Team didn't lose, a freak circumstance happened, and MSU gotten the better end of it. I don't like being on the precipice of ...

Re: Shockers
This stuff doesn't happen to Jim Harbaugh until he dons the maize and blue. Then his teams can't execute punts. It's incredible. This wasn't a case of mishandling "punts" , it was an unfortunate mishap that occurred 1 time. But people had rational optimism after Hoke's first year, and loo...

Re: Shockers
Well, the guy before Hoke didn't do much for Big Blue either.
I will say, it does show how quick the turn around can be, with the right guy in the commander's seat --- [just ask florida while they scrape the remnants of the Muschamp off their shoe].

Re: Shockers
Michigan was punting with 10 seconds left -- there could possibly have been a punt return for a touchdown, or a fair catch with sme kooky gimmick play, or a prayer from the blue bomb -- so, the game was not necessarily decided; However, it sure seemed to be.

Re: Boise State -- Utah State
I posted the way I did to make light of a situation that could have felt a whole lot worse. I'm sure Donovan knew I didn't put this up in a mean fashion. If you read the whole post {you did, didn't you?} you'd notice this was neither a stick, nor rubbing salt into the wound. Also, I took a stab at m...

Re: USC @ Notre Dame Game Temperature
I didn't see any rain today, so that part of the forecast was a miss. But very little sunlight. It's 40 degrees right now, and their about to kickoff. Should be a great night for ball. They are calling for a freeze warning overnight, so temps will drop fast without the sun. Another thing, is how dry...

Boise State -- Utah State
Donovaaaan!! --- Donovan, what happened!? Your guys couldn't hold onto the ball. 7 turnovers on the road. Looked like the Broncos were playing a game of fumblitis. I'm glad this wasn't on the Saturday Picks; that is one more I would have gotten burnt by. Boise St did mount some offense in the second...

Re: USC @ Notre Dame Game Temperature
They're calling for a freeze advisory tonight. Afternoon weather conditions tomorrow will be cloudy, with scattered showers. That means little to no sun during the day, so the ground level will not get any warmth prior to dusk, which is when kickoff time will happen. I'm glad I'll be inside watching...
