Re: The Moral Compass of the NCAA?
The NCAA spent years trying to free us from the evil of Indian mascots. Now at least they are trying to address corruption. However, they failed to address the Cam Newton issue, since that would cost people money, so why should we trust them to do the right thing?

Re: Pitt??????
I don't know how Sagarin does their SOS, but it would come out the same in terms of rank: 1. Notre Dame - 16 2. Alabama - 17 3. Kansas State - 33 4. Oregon - 47 Sagarin is a "he", not a "they". He's manically secretive about his formula and he doesn't know much about the specifi...

Re: USC Cheating?
I suppose USC would be at an advantage if they were going to throw the ball a lot more often than Oregon, which, without looking at the box score, I assume is the case. I'm so tired of this guy. How does any recruit coming out of high school want to line up and play for him? If you get an offer fro...

Knowing Kiffin's integrity, I'm sure he'd never let anything shady go on under him.

Re: Pitt??????
Do we look at strength of schedule, which seems to be everyone's favorite chew toy. For that we need a tool, we will use Sagarin for now 1. Notre Dame...Average Sagarin Rank of Teams Played...41.33 2. Alabama...49.67 3. Kansas St....56.22 4. Oregon...72.44 This is completely stupid. First of all, a...

Re: Most Difficult Schedule
8 of Arkansas' opponents out of 12 do not have a game on the Saturday before they play Arkansas. Just read where 6 of Arkansas opponents have off weeks the week before they play Arkansas and 2 more don't play on the Saturday before but on Thursday (so 9 days off before they play Arkansas). You know...

Check out a schedule breakdown of games played after coming off a bye: http://www.cfbtrivia.com/cfbt_records.php?fry=2002&thy=2011&breakdown=on&sgrb=on&allop=1&cres=1&scrview=5&tbye=on Note that the overall record is a losing one, so it can be disputed that it's an advant...

Notre Dame has had a bye before playing a top 10 opponent 4 times over the last 10 years. That's slightly above average. Now, look at Texas A&M. Wow.

Re: Bad Day for the Big Tenish
We've had worse  Indiana, Purdue, and Minnesota are all horrific this year (no offense GoBoilers). I don't think there's any shame in losing to Alabama, especially since Penn State is probably the fifth or sixth best team in the conference. And Iowa State / Iowa is usually a close one. When? O...

Bleh, I found it. They got them for selling their Jersey with their name on it, their football awards, and for discount services. The students were not originally aware that this was an infraction but upon education still did not come forward adding a fifth game to a normal four game suspension. Ea...

He was trying to get the activity stopped because he thought it was stupid for kids to be selling mementos of their accomplishments for pennies. This thread brings in to question who on this board can be trusted. Do people here turn themselves in when they run a stop sign? Let he who has no sin thr...

Re: 11-2 RECORD, NO TOP 25 RANKING...
I can agree with that, but he had Utah just out of the top 25 with the Utes at #26. Michigan State lost to two very good teams. I know that Utah did also, but wouldn't coming from a tougher conference (Big Ten) mean something? The big ten wasn't that good this year. Better than the MWC according to...
