Re: Nick Saban Tells It
Tony Petitti seems to be in bed with Fox, NBC, and CBS. Not sure that is much better. They are sure trying not to leave any crumbs laying around. I’m hoping for a Deja Vu all over again…….. like when Jim Delany and the BIG stepped in after John Swofford and ACC decided to get in bed with ‘The Roden...

Re: Nick Saban Tells It
In my experience Ohio State didn’t cheat. Now that isn’t to say a booster didn’t hand out cash or stuff to an athlete. But it wasn’t institutional as it was lots of places. The thing with Ohio State now is that they are allowed to pay players now and they have massive resources to get it together a...

Re: Nick Saban Tells It
“The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer,” Saban said. “And eventually, the fans will look at it like ‘I don’t really want to watch this game.’” 8) . Completely true. Truth is a good thing…….. the problem is it’s hard to find, and usually doesn’t come out until all the deception, misd...

Re: Nick Saban Tells It
This money thing comes with a risk………… if it’s money that’s deciding where they play, money could also decide how they play or when they take a play off. Say like a belly ache, or a bad snap, fumble, missed block, blown coverage, penalties, missed kick, dropped pass, interception, etc, etc, etc….. j...

Re: I Believe It’s The Biggest Challenge Coaches Face This Day and Time…..
……………and here’s what Dan Wetzel has to says about Saban’s comments. I think Wetzel should read what Saban actually said, and this time READ ALL OF IT, IN CONTEXT. And then maybe next time he will stay on point and continue the narrative, as opposed to voicing his own while using Saban’s thoughts and...

Re: Is College Football at or nearing a point to where each game should be handicaped?????
Strength of schedule is mostly perception. I guess you can wait until the end of the season and see where everyone is, but I’m not sure that tells you much. You beat Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan, Bama, or someone like that, you must be good. If can’t be that they aren’t. :? You’re right. The 12 ga...

Re: Is College Football at or nearing a point to where each game should be handicaped?????
Now that the ‘Wins’ has been addressed, let’s talk about ‘Strength of Schedule’………. Many, if not most schools, schedule multiple non-power four schools during the regular seasons. Some schedule more than others, usually 3 non conference opponents, while others as many as four, I believe the SEC stil...

Haha, That would change the game plans in a big way. The sandbags would be out in force. Greg Sankey would claim and bring all the sand on all the beaches from the Northern Border of South Carolina all the way to Florida, including the Keys, up the west side of Florida and along the entire Gulf Coa...
