Few thoughts 1. Colt Brennan probably is ready. His stock is high and frankly being from a mid major the run at the Heisman is just a dream that will never happen. Several reasons...Probably not in the budget or experience to promote him....like everything else in this country...Heisman promotion is...

Well...no doubt in my mind that Coach Petersen deserved the honor and that is not to say others were very well in the contention. I am amused at the columnists that are now writing that BSU should have had a chance at the title...the same columnists that never voted that way.. Can not be too surpris...

I really dislike defending a program in which I am disinterested as well as being uninterested. But if they have the largest following..which they do, and sports is entertainment, which it is....then why shouldn't the masses...no pun intended...get what they want. They buy the tickets the lubricate ...

A very nice tribute to the Boise program, Coach Petersen.

It does show what happens when you appear in a bowl game and make gutsy decisions that work.

Not sure how many first year coaches go undefeated and win coach of the year...somebody must know.....
