Re: Duke/Texas A&M

A&M's offense seems to be losing their composure . . . Duke is in control.
If the Blue Devs can keep it up in the second quarter, they may win.

But they need to get a decent lead in front of themselves.
A&M has a habit of pouring it on late when trailing.

We'll shall see.

Duke/Texas A&M

What I like about this game, is how Duke is not backing down, and taking it right to A&M.

This has turned out to be a better game than I assumed it would be.

Duke just blocked a punt. Could be a fun night, all.

Re: An already bad defense

If you prefer boring, smashmouth, real man foobaw, this game is for you! mickey andrews had the most fun to watch defenses I have ever watched play in the 80's and 90's. They were big, fast, and powerful. They weren't boring at all. Jimmy Johnson brought that with him, when he started coaching the ...

A More Enviromentally Friendly Michigan . . .

In these times of poor economy & energy expenditure; is it time for a newer, more positive direction for the Northern Midwest State. Maybe it is time for a movement towards a financially secure, emotionally enthusiastic future, where the money put in, is a return investment to the energy & e...

Re: Mack Brown

Well, since Colt McKoy Left . . .

Texas was pretty formidable with him.
11-1 & 13-0 his last two regular seasons.

It's been otherwise dismal since then, however.

Re: An already bad defense

Stanford hasn't played many solid defensive units this season; it'll be interesting to see just how good Sparty can be.

Not necessarily the most explosive offense; however, MSU does have a game plan that can truly control the clock.

This is actually going to be a fun Rose Bowl.

Re: Mack Brown

When you abandon the aspect of your offense that is generating a lot of production for you [the running game], to force attempts at the aspect of the offense which is performing miserably [the passing game], you are going to lose the game . . . Texas.

Re: Bowl $$$$ Problems

I guess reading your post, that is why I am for playoffs, instead of letting computers and media determine the champions. With espn having exclusive rights to these playoffs, over its first 12 years; the media will be controlling things. They already sway opinion with their constant barrage of anal...

Re: Hey Swamp Daddy . . . Good Gaming

It's the new with hunt . . . They are likely going to flag at least one player a game for it. The problem with the one in this game, is that the commentators made it seem deliberate; saying when a player launches himself, it is going to be automatic. Notice how they said, "Launches himself"...

Hey Swamp Daddy . . . Good Gaming

Miami has nothing going for them. There certainly needs to be some changes. Offensive & Defensive. I'm not so sure Al can be the guy, if he doesn't know when to pull his QB. The Louisville D is getting decent penetration {actually, both of Louisville lines are pushing the `Canes around tonight}....

Re: Leaderboard 2013 - Final

Two hours . . . Donovan can't even stay awake for that long in any one period of time. . Seriously though; I don't do the confidence points myself, however, I went back and forth over the list a couple of times, changing a couple of my predictions, until I finally just settled, and said, forget it, ...

Re: It Took me a Month, Spence...

On the topics of Quarter Backs; Oklahoma got a QB transfer from Texas Tech, Baker Mayfield. With the style of Quarter Back that Texas Tech generally goes after, Stoops may have picked up the cure that the doctor ordered. QB woes have befallen a lot of programs. Miami, Michigan Oklahoma, Texas to nam...

Re: Leaderboard 2013 - Final

Yep, thanx for the run Eric, it was a great ride. 8 behind the lead for the second half, and 18 behind the lead overall, I seem to be regressing. I'm not quite a optimistic as Donovan though; next year never seems to work out all that well. That's okay, however, because I like living in the here &am...
