I believe that we are in the last days of major college sports.

They may have did that, but the NCAA making rules after the fact are the biggest issue and the fact that they let things evolve to the point where they are infact toothless.

What is going to happen is that schools like Dartmouth are going to lose their athletic programs in this process.

I am guessing that the problem with commitment has to do with them already having a plan.
