It's absolutely dirty, I agree. I'm not defending the ACC here, they kind of lobbed a grenade at the Big East having secret negotiations and such. No, you need to look for a year where a conference had lots of co-champs.

I have always believed that the coaches poll represents to great a conflict of interest to over come. Not that the AP doesn't have its problems, but at least they don't have a financial stake in who wins. As long as the games keep getting played, they make money.
