Removing them was all they could do for the day, I agree. I just don't get the mentality of people throwing things (especially batteries) on to the field at other people. Someone could have been really hurt. Football is very important to me, but it is still just a game. It isn't worth hurting someon...

I'm not naive, I just think that the NCAA should have been the one to step in. If the B-10 had the chance to add Nebraska and Notre Dame, they would do it in a minute. That wouldn't be good for the B-12 and it wouldn't be good for the team the B-10 kicked out to get them. Billybud is right that the ...

I don't think it would be wrong for Rodriguez to give him another chance. As a matter of fact, I think this is the perfect way to do it. Making him come back to school on his own dime. Making him prove he wants to be there by getting himself eligible. Then making him come to the team and humble hims...

Yes, but weren't Colorado fans throwing batteries at some point? Wisconsin does crap like that. It is one thing to tailgate, talk smack, and cheer your team, but when you do things that could cause serious injury there is no excuse. It is just wrong. It doesn't matter who does it it is wrong.

It doesn't taint West Virginia's team. I don't think anyone would say that. The problem West Virginia and the rest of the teams in the Big East have is proving they are better then there schedule. Beating Georgia last year goes a long way to help that cause, but it isn't a one year thing. Big East t...

So our game of football isn't nearly as dangerous as it could be. Of cours in soccer it is more dangerous to be in the stands then it is on the field.

Even if he does get to come back, if I were his dad, his butt would be feeling it on the way back to WVU. Giving up a full ride for being to lazy to take care of your business is something I would remind him of everytime I wrote a tuition check.

CFP Trivia Challenge Question Game 37

From Huskermoon, Nebraska football hall of famer George Flippin set a first at Nebraska and a 5th for the nation. The 6'2, 200 pound running back and tackle was an amazing athlete for his time. he played from 1891-1894. Missouri forfeited an 1892 Contest because of Flippin. Flippen went on to become...

I think that is exactly what Rodriguez has in mind. Making him pay his own way and try and walk on is making him prove he wants to do it.

I like how everyone seems to think USC is going to drop off the map next year. USC is loaded with talent. They are very deep. SC isn't going away anytime soon and Notre Dame has to play them at home. Georgia Tech is going to be good. They will get Penn St. at a good time(new QB, new D line and very ...

I knew it was a TV personality when you answered the media question like you did, but when Eric mentioned Temple, I had it. I looked to see if he was a back and I was pretty sure he was the guy.

Mountainman...I got a grip. I know you get p+ssed when I mention WVU's weak, weak schedule...but it is what it is. Actually, FSU, during their dynasty run, played a tougher SOS than Ohio State's and one of the nation's toughest on average....they played two of the winningest teams of the decade (Mi...
