Well, about two or so weeks until CFP rankings. WVU, Miami, Penn State, Georgia, etc. might have opened the doors. Where will UCF, Texas, Notre Dame, etc. climb to?
Thoughts?

Re: Jabberwocky on Week 6
Well, BYU, what has happened? Seminoles, I was pulling hard for ya. What heart and fight. But the comeback, dang. VT, the Irish was just too tough. I saw some targeting that looked the same as some other targeting. Some were called while others were reviewed and passed off. Now, if LSU loses one mor...

Re: I Taught Those Fellas
Yes, Ferrell Edmunds' hands are very massive. I shake his hand, and mine are buried in his.

I Taught Those Fellas
Well, does anyone remember the Frank Reich Maryland over Miami comeback? The TE for Maryland was Ferrell Edmunds. He coaches the high school football team right next to the middle school I teach at. I taught two of his three sons. The ones that went to Virginia Tech and one transferred to Maryland I...

Washington Huskies and Seahawks Stadium Question
I have been watching college football since 1999. I thought I remembered that the Huskies played at the Seahawks stadium. I read online that the Huskies have played at home stadium since like 1902, and the Seahawks have their own stadium. Am I missing something? Was Husky stadium renovated one year ...

Re: Preponderancies of Week 5
Well, you guys know way more than me, but I like adding in what I observed on each college football Saturday. 1. What is the deal with Nebraska? I mean this is getting pretty "regular" now. Losing that is. Is there a Fire Frost webpage yet? 2. The play on 4th and 5 for Penn State was ridic...

Re: Week 4 Gibberish
Well, the Hokies giving up 600 yards to a winless ODU team. I wonder if Nebraska misses Frank Solich. I mean they have been through some bad and not so good seasons. This 0-3 start shoes it. I wonder if Les Miles will coach again. I think UNC could use a coach. Where else could he go if he decided t...

Even though it was Washington State plus 4.5. Glad I teased it to Trojans minus 1.5. I had a feeling Cougs would keep it close. Not that close though.

Re: Week 2 Ramblings
Even the announcers were talking about this. Watch the last four minutes of the game. They talk about Nebraska being a tempo team, but that doesn't mean snap the ball when there is still 20-30 seconds left on play clock. Run it all the way doesn't and leave the Buffs with maybe 50-60 seconds left on...

Re: Week 2 Ramblings
Nebraska having the ball with 2 minutes and something left. They are snapping it with 20-30 seconds left on the play clock. Just because they are a tempo team. Oh yeah, and they lose..

Re: National Championship ...
I have never experienced anything college football related like that in my life. The dynasty team is getting torn to bits. Georgia is gonna stomp on Bama on the way to the national title. This kid, looks 14 years old, comes in and does some crazy Elway, Montana, Vick kinda stuff. After the sack in O...

Re: The Annual It's Cold Here Thread ...
We had about 5 inches of snow here in Virginia (close to the NC/Virginia border) about three weeks ago. Been very cold lately. Single digits to the low 20s. Pretty soon, forecasting a couple of days in the upper 50s.

Re: SEC! SEC! SEC!!
I like college football. Okay, love it. My signature used to be something like: give me the two worst teams, the worst seats in the stadium, and the coldest day, and I would still go and have a good time. I will watch the game next week. Just still feels a little empty though. I know it is about the...

I really thought he was gonna do something. Losing to rivals like this and then this season. About done with this.
