Re: Nick Saban Tells It

Tony Petitti seems to be in bed with Fox, NBC, and CBS. Not sure that is much better. They are sure trying not to leave any crumbs laying around.

Re: Nick Saban Tells It

In my experience Ohio State didn’t cheat. Now that isn’t to say a booster didn’t hand out cash or stuff to an athlete. But it wasn’t institutional as it was lots of places. The thing with Ohio State now is that they are allowed to pay players now and they have massive resources to get it together a...

Mountainman wrote:“The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer,” Saban said. “And eventually, the fans will look at it like ‘I don’t really want to watch this game.’”

Re: Nick Saban Tells It

My view of how to pick a place to play, and I am doing this with my daughter right now, is how do you get the best experience in your sport, at your school, and with your career choice. Most kids will never play competitively after college. My daughter is one of those kids. That is ok. She is a very...

He is right. Kids and Parents are too obsessed with the most money now. Be developed into a place to make the most money in the future should be the goal.

I have found that the attitude of the kids tend to mirror the attitude of the parents.

Strength of schedule is mostly perception. I guess you can wait until the end of the season and see where everyone is, but I’m not sure that tells you much. You beat Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan, Bama, or someone like that, you must be good. If can’t be that they aren’t. :? You’re right. The 12 ga...

Re: Judge says, ‘No Rules Enforcement for NIL’…….

I think they have already trashed title nine. My daughter likes being part of a team. I think playing college golf will allow her to get better and get that experience of traveling with a team. She was the number 1 or 2 for the whole time she was in high school, but she had her coach push her, in co...

Yeah, It is that world in which those guys live. Almost all of them think they walk above the masses. One that I met that wasn't like that was E. Gordon Gee. He was like a very small school president that had big school organization and management skills. He was a good guy, though a little on the ner...
