Re: Playoff Committee's Week 12 Poll

I think one conference could absolutely have two of the best teams in the country. I also think that if you don’t know for sure then the one who didn’t win their conference championship had their shot. Next please. I don’t care if it is B1G, SEC or anyone else.

Re: Playoff Committee's Week 12 Poll

It will be interesting to see what they do with Minnesota if they beat Iowa this week. That would give them two good wins and a big 0 in the loss column

Re: Playoff Committee's Week 12 Poll

The committee says they start every week with a blank slate and they only put Minnesota 8 and them ESPN acts like that was an amazing gift. That is BS. Alabama has a better win than both Ohio State and Clemson. They have less loses than Alabama (who has no good wins). Georgia has two good wins but a...

Re: Where's Greta ..?

Can someone tell me what the difference is between an Arctic Bulge, a Siberian Express and a Polar Vortex???? :? It was sunny and 60 degrees here yesterday, currently it’s 23 degrees and falling with 4 inches of snow on the ground. We were 64 and it is 21. We only had a couple inches of sno...

Re: Where's Greta ..?

The are over the whole warming thing now. Today they just talk of extreme temperatures. When I was in high school during the 77-78 Midwest blizzard they raked of a new ice age. The weather isn’t immune to political twisting either and as long as there is money to be made, some scientist will provide...

Re: Ga and OSU Scheduled.....2030

I think Ohio State and Georgia has scheduled once before, but for whatever reason it didn’t work out. Ohio State has been doing this for a while, but it doesn’t always work out. We had a home and home with TCU this year that TCU backed out of after Ohio State fulfilled it’s end and went to Texas las...

Re: A Former insider's view to Ohio State's compliance office

Yeah, I heard that too. Zack Smith is not the best human being. But the fact that his grandpa was Earle Bruce gives him a pretty good background into college football and how it works. He may be a huge douche but he has a pretty good football IQ and he talks way to much, but that gives you an insigh...

A Former insider's view to Ohio State's compliance office

This is from Jack Smith's pod cast. Take it with a grain of salt because Zack Smith hates OSU compliance. They essentially had him fired. (he still says he did nothing wrong) He does have some interesting insights on football. There is foul language. https://menace2societypodcast.com/m2society-044-o...

Re: I believe CFP Chairman just said.....

I agree. Teams like Bama get the benefit of the doubt because of their past. But I think it's also because they generate money. Not just Alabama. Lots of teams get boosts from their history. Ohio State, Notre Dame, Clemson, Penn State, Michigan, Georgia, Florida, USC, UCLA, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida...

Re: I believe CFP Chairman just said.....

Alabama is just a pretty darn good club... Their two turnovers and miscues in the first half spotted LSU with a 21 point lead. And Bama fought back to lose by 5 instead of letting it be a rout. I am not sure there are three teams in America that could overcome a 21 point lead by LSU. There will be ...

Re: I believe CFP Chairman just said.....

It was all over ESPN u yesterday and ESPN u radio. There was a huge push to put Alabama in at 4 even though they haven’t had a ranked win.

Re: I believe CFP Chairman just said.....

They won’t crack the top 6. All I have heard today is that LSU beat Alabama so LSU must be really good and Penn State must not be very good because they lost to Minnesota. So does every week really count? I’m not sure that they count much at all. If this really is a fluid poll based on what is happe...
